A few short moons ago, a man came into the room where
I was visiting, Petloss.com was that room.
This man was hurting from the great loss of a furbaby,
}{}{}{Gary}{}{}{ }{}{}{Sugar}{}{}{
We talked with others, we tried to help this hurting one.
As the days passed, in time, we became friends.
The hurt grew less for both of us as
he walked the dusty path of the Lonewolf with me.
My love for him has grown.
He has so much love in his heart to give,
We are most happy to call this one son
for he means the world to us
LegeneWolf is willing to give the benefit of the doubt.
He seems to me a gentle, caring, loving soul.
When he feels up to it he continues to go to
Petloss.com in an attempt to help others
Let it be known he has kept his promise
to go when he could and time permitted
Please let it be known, I love this pack of wolves
with all the heart that is in me.
Forever and one day more will I love you all.
May the gentle wind called peace be ever in the
hearts of those that care for others pain.

Wolf Of The Month

For this sixth "Wolf of the Month" for the New Year,
"This Pack of Wolves" does hereby declare that
we shall honor LegeneWolf, "Gary", for the
many things he "does" for this pack of wolves.
For his dedication, Caring, and Love, for helping
others with hurting hearts, suggestions, and coming to the chatroom
and being a kind and caring soul.
for his devotion to loss of pets.
For all you do, we thank you, Son to Us,
and Brother and friend to others.
We love you Lengene, ever and one day more

I love this story poem so much i decided to leave it here on Legenes page also.

THE WOLF AND THE ROSE

Nothing escaped his sight,
as he walked tenderly through the snow
in a glade
he came upon it there,
a single rose of beauty
that had risen from beneath the snow.
As he trudged
through the snow, lonesome and weary
having no special place to go,
the rose was quitely waiting from the depths of the ground below.

Dare he proceed without caution,
and let the beauty
of the rose become the ruler within
but the rose was such a challenge,
he dare not pass it by,
for only her beauty was in the view from his eyes.
For the rose upon the snow,
was beauty that lay upon the ground.

Such tenderness within her,
soft petals all around,
the wolf was amazed
that in the snowy blanket
such a rose could be found.

He paced around the rose
waiting for his prey
to make a sound or movement
on that cold winter day,
then the wolf lay down beside her
upon the snowy ground.

His sense of protection was gathered all around.
His warmth surrounded her,
but the rose lay quietly within the blanket of snow
for bound by the roots beneath her
she had no place to go.

Beauty in the forest wild
reaching for the sun
she feared that her beauty
was soon to be outdone
for even with the warmth and protection
of the wolf
who laid beside her in the snow
the rose would not be able
to live beneath the snow.

But the wolf stayed beside her
through all the storms and wind
for the rose
had stirred something in his heart
and he felt warmth from deep within.

When the storms of winter passed and
warmth was in the ground,
the rose continued to grow
because of the warmth
from the wolf she had found.
His beauty lay within him and
his protection and in part
let the rose beneath the snow
gather winter warmth
from his heart.

Among the wilderness of imagination
this story has no end
because it is about love
that can only grow from deep within.
Be it a wolf and a rose in the snow
or two people that love each other
and need to say....

I love you with all my heart!

WINDSONG

By Benjamin Pressley

Copyright 1989

Many voices, many names, cast upon the wind...
The wind tells a story of a past without end.
Bending bough speaking wisdom in the heights of every tree,
Hear its song, "Come along, where we all can be free,
Hear me sing, in every spring, every babble of every brook."
Forest trail as it winds opens like some ancient book.
Upon this ground that we trod beneath our feet,
Many people, man and God did upon this Earth meet.
Let your soul hear the melody of a past uniting all,
Look within you, then look about, hear the primal call.
Buckskin, stone, ocher, bone unite us with mankind past,
People of one fire upon eternity our shadows cast.
Let your spirit eyes look deep, not just merely glance,
Sacred fire bids you, "Come, join into the dance."
Fire, Water, Earth and Air,
Unite us in a past we share.
Feel the warmth of Fire's embrace,
Drink in the life of Water's taste,
Caress the Earth beneath your feet,
Merge with every breath of Air, so sweet,
The wind will tell your story, truth it will not bend,
Look around, search within, then cast your name upon the wind.
